  • 1 large
    round boule bread
  • 1 c
    halo's mild muffaletta sicilian style olive salad
  • 4 oz
    sliced genoa salami
  • 4 oz
    sliced cappiocola
  • 4 oz
    sliced deli ham or mortadella
  • 4 oz
    sliced fresh mozzorella
  • 4 oz
    sliced provolone cheese

How to Make Muffaletta


  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Slice bread in half horizontally, and remove enough of the inside to make room for fillings. Layer the olive salad, meats and cheeses on the bottom half of bread, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Bake until muffaletta is warmed and the cheese is melted , about 30 minutes. Allow it to sit for about an hour for the flavors to marry. The sandwich may also be served at room temperature.
  4. Cut into slices to serve.
