mom's italian sandwich presto
I have made many different versions of this recipe my mother Madeleine used to make, and the hubby loves them all! I tend to omit the onion and egg, and then double the meats on each slice. Serve with chips, or you favorite side, and you will be very happy!

Ingredients
- 6 slices white bread, toasted
- 6 slices salami
- 6 slices ham
- 1/3 cup italian dressing
- 6 slices tomato (i omit most of the time)
- 3 - hard boiled eggs, sliced (i omit)
- 4 ounces cream cheese and chives, whipped
- 2 tablespoons italian salad dressing

Step 1Fry meat in 1/3 cup dressing, place on toast. Top with tomato and egg slices. Warm cream cheese, thin with dressing to make a smooth sauce. Pour over sandwiches and bake8-10 minutes at 425 degrees or until heated through.
