Ingredients

  • 1 pound hamburger meat
  • 1 package italian bread
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 package mozzarella cheese
  • 1 jar prego sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • - salt,pepper, garlic salt to taste

How To Make meatball sub casserole

  • Step 1
    To make meatballs: combine meat, 1 egg, 1 sleeve saltine cracker crumbs, 1 c. tomato catsup, salt, pepper. Combine and roll into balls Bake on baking sheet for app. 20 minutes. Remove and let cool.
  • Step 2
    Spray 9x13 casserole dish with Pam line dish with italian bread combine: cream cheese, mayo, italian seasoning,pepper Spread mixture over bread
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over cream cheese mixture Combine Prego Sauce, water, garlic salt, meatballs Pour meat and sauce over cheese Top with another layer of mozzarella cheese Bake 350 for 30 minutes
