Ingredients
- 1/2 pound ground beef
- 1 small yellow onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 8 ounces tomato sauce
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 4 large sub buns
How To Make lasagna subs

Step 1Place the ground beef in a saucepan with the onion, garlic, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Cook until no longer pink. Stir in the tomato sauce.

Step 2Mix the mozzarella cheese, ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and basil. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Step 3Scoop out the bread from the bottom of the bun, leaving about 1/2 shell.

Step 4Spoon the beef mixture into the bottom of the buns.

Step 5Place the cheese mixture on top of the ground beef mixture. Top with the top of the bun.

Step 6Wrap in foil and place on a baking sheet. Bake 20 minutes.
