italian sausage subs
Super easy & quick dinner! I don't really consider this a recipe, because it's really just cook the ingredients & assemble. Hope you try it sometime!

Ingredients
- 1 package italian sausage, hot
- 1 package submarine sandwich rolls
- 1 package italian blend cheese, or mozzarella
- 1 - green bell pepper,sliced
- 1 - red bell pepper,sliced
- - olive oil
- - italian seasoning
- - garlic salt
- - black pepper
- 1 - onion, sliced
How To Make italian sausage subs

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2For easy cleanup, line a baking sheet with foil.

Step 3In a large skillet, cover just the bottom with water & add sausages, cook over medium heatuntil done, turning frequently. The water will evaporate, so you get the nice brown marks on each side.

Step 4While sausages cook, in another skillet, over medium heat, add 1-2 tablespoons of oil, then sliced peppers & onions. Add Seasonings to taste. Cook until crisp tender stirring often.( they usually are done about the same time as the sausages.

Step 5Put sub rolls on lined pan & put a layer of cheese in the bottom. Add sausage(I usually cut the sausage in half & stagger them in the bun because the rolls I buy are longer than the sausages)

Step 6Add peppers & onions, top with cheese.

Step 7Put in the oven & bake until cheese is melted & bun is slightly crusty. Enjoy!
