Ingredients
- HERB BUTTER
- 1/2 stick butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon dry italian seasoning
- SANDWICHES
- 6 - hoagie rolls
- 1 package hard salami
- 1 package deli smoked ham
- 12 slices sliced mozzarella or provolone cheese
- OPTIONS TO ADD
- - giardiniera mix
- - pepperoni or other meat
- - red wine vinegar & oil with salt and pepper
- - onion
- - hot or sweet peppers
How To Make hot italian hoagie

Step 1Preheat oven to 350.

Step 2Mix butter and italian seasoning. Evenly spread butter on inside of hoagie rolls.

Step 3Layer one slice mozzarella, 3 slices folded salami, 2 slices folded ham,one more slice mozzarella. (this is where you could add more meat or the giardiniera mix to the sandwich)

Step 4Once the sandwiches are assembled, place them into a large baking dish. Make sure they are tightly pressed together, placing them sideways, with an open side facing up.

Step 5Bake for 10 minutes until cheese is melted. (bake longer if you prefer a toasted sandwich)
