This is my take on the Ham & Cheese sliders I've been seeing on Facebook lately. Everything's better with bacon! :)

prep time 20 Min
cook time 15 Min

yield 4-8 serving(s)

Ingredients

  • SANDWICH INGREDIENTS
  • 24 - hawaiian dinner rolls
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/3 cup coleslaw dressing
  • 1/2 pound bacon, cooked & crumbled
  • 48 - pieces thick sliced honey ham
  • 24 - pieces thick sliced swiss cheese
  • TOPPING INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds (or sesame seeds)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 1/2 tablespoon onion, dried minced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

How To Make ham, cheese & bacon sliders

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 350. Slice rolls in half, setting the tops aside. Lay the roll bottoms on a baking sheet.
  • Step 2
Cut the thick sliced ham & Swiss until slices are roughly the size of the rolls. (48 pieces of the ham, 24 pieces of the Swiss)
  • Step 3
In a small bowl, combine the mayonnaise & coleslaw dressing. Mix well.
  • Step 4
Brush the dressing evenly on the inside of both halves of the rolls. To the bottoms, add 2 slices of ham, bacon & a slice of Swiss on each roll. Cover with the roll tops.
  • Step 5
Combine topping ingredients. Pour (or brush) evenly over the sandwiches.
  • Step 6
Cover with foil & bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove foil & bake for 2 mins more, or until cheese is melted & tops are golden. Serve warm.
  • Step 7
** Everything can be assembled the day before & stored in the fridge, until ready to bake.
