ham and gouda panini
I have a panini maker and have been trying to use it for all kinds of stuff. Who needs a regular sandwich when you can transform it into a panini? Of course, you can use whatever kind of cheese or deli meat you desire - the sky's the limit! Or at least, the deli section of your market is the limit!

Ingredients
- 4 slices whole grain bread
- 2 teaspoons whole grain mustard
- 2 slices gouda cheese (or any kind you want)
- 2-4 ounces deli sliced black forest ham
- sliced pickles (bread and butter, hamburger, or dill)
- roasted red peppers
How To Make ham and gouda panini
-
Step 1Pre-heat panini maker.
-
Step 2Build the two sandwiches from the bottom up in order listed: Bread, mustard, cheese, ham, pickles, red peppers, bread.
-
Step 3Put both sandwiches cheese side down in the panini maker, close lid, and let sandwiches heat up. (I like to hold the top down firmly so that those lines become nice and toasty looking!)
-
Step 4Carefully remove sandwiches from panini maker, cut in half, and serve.
- Last Step: Don't forget to share! Post a picture of your finished recipe here and on your favorite social network. Don't forget to tag Just A Pinch and include #justapinchrecipes!
