bread
3/4 oz
turkey breast, thinly sliced
1 oz
provolone cheese, thinly sliced
3/4 oz
ham, thinly sliced
2 tsp
butter
1
egg, beaten
2 tsp
strawberry jam, or raspberry jam

How to Make Grilled Monte Cristo Sandwich

Step-by-Step

  • 1To assemble sandwich, top 1 slice of bread with turkey, cheese and ham. Cover with remaining slice of bread.
  • 2Melt butter in small skillet over medium heat. Dip sandwich in beaten egg, turning to coat both sides. Cook sandwich 3 to 4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • 3Top sandwich with strawberry or raspberry jam. Sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
