Ingredients

  • 4 slices rustic sourdough bread
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups prepared macaroni and cheese
  • butter

How To Make grilled cheese mac and cheese sandwiches

  • Step 1
    Lay 4 slices of bread on the counter and place a slice of cheese on each side. If your bread is huge like mine, you might need more slices of cheese. Add one cup of mac and cheese to each sandwich.
  • Step 2
    Add some butter to a griddle pan. Butter one side of the sandwich and lay that side down on the griddle pan. Cook until browned on the first side while buttering the other side.
  • Step 3
    Turn and cook on the other side until toasted. Cut in half and serve.
