Slow Cooker Crock Pot


  • 1
    orange, juiced
  • 1
    lime, juiced
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/4 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 2 tsp
  • 1
    bay leaf
  • 1 Tbsp
    mined garlic
  • 1 lb
    pork loin, or shoulder
  • 1/2 c
    chicken broth
  • ·
    swiss cheese
  • ·
    sliced pickles
  • ·
  • ·
    deli ham
  • ·
    sub rolls

How to Make Cuban Sandwich


  1. Combine juices and seasoning in slow cooker
  2. Add pork, pour chicken broth over the top. Cook on high for 4 - 6 hours or low for 6 - 8 hours. It should flake apart once its cooked
  3. Place mustard on sub roll, add cheese, ham, pork and pickles
  4. Heat a teaspoon of oil or butter in the skillet, place the sandwich on the hot skillet and press with a spatula. Press until the bread it crispy, and brown. I like to press both sides. Enjoy!
