Ingredients For cracker barrel's hot brown

  • 1/4 c
    butter
  • 4 Tbsp
    all purpose flour
  • 2 c
    milk
  • 3/4 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 lb
    thinly sliced cooked turkey
  • 6 slice
    toast
  • 3
    tomatoes, sliced
  • 10 slice
    bacon, partially cooked

How To Make cracker barrel's hot brown

    In a small saucepan melt the butter and stir in the flour. Whisk in the milk and stir until thickened.

    Add the cheese, salt, and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until smooth.

    Arrange the turkey on the toast in a 9x3-inch baking dish. Top with the cheese sauce, tomato slices, and bacon.
