The name comes from Chorizo (sausage) plus Pan (bread) so Choripan! Sold by street vendors in Argentina and enjoyed by all! From a sausage making website.

Ingredients

1 - argentinian chorizo sausage
1 - french bread or brat bun or large roll
- chimichurri sauce

How To Make choripan (sausage sandwich)

Step 1

Grill or pan fry sausage. Open bread or bun and grill briefly, cut side down.

Step 2

Butterfly (cut lengthwise) and place on one side of bread.
Step 3

Spread chimichurri sauce on other side of bun. Close and enjoy!
Step 4

NOTE: if Argentinian chorizo is unavailable, Italian sausage or other pork based sausage may be used instead.
