How to Make Charcoaled Bratwurst, Mom
- Soak brats in cold water for 1 hour. Charcoal over med heat with the grill in its highest position. If the fire flames, sprinkle it with water. Turn the brats 1/4 turn at time until browned. Put them into a mixture of onion simmered in butter. Add beer and brats at the same time. Serve in hard rolls with beer soaked onions.
