3 clove
garlic minced
1 small
onion minced
1/4 c
beer i used coors light
3 Tbsp
ketchup
2 Tbsp
relish
1 Tbsp
each prepared mustard and worcestershire sauce

9 inch pie crusts store-bought or homemade
6 Tbsp
shredded cheddar cheese
1 large
egg
1 Tbsp
water

How to Make Beer Cheeseburger Hand Pies

Step-by-Step

  • 1For the filling
    Brown the beef with the onion and garlic. Pour in the beer and let most evaporate. Drain. Add the ketchup, mustard, relish, and Worcestershire Sauce.
  • 2To Assemble pies
    Roll out dough and cut into 6 triangles. 3 will be for the bottom and 3 for the top. Repeat with the other pie of dough.
  • 3Preheat oven 400 degrees. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix the egg and water together.
  • 4Place 1 tbsp cheese on 6 triangles. Top with some beef filling. Brush the edges of the other 6 triangles with egg wash. Place the top over each filling. Press edges together.
  • 5Brush all 6 pies with egg wash. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
