Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 cup white mushrooms thinly sliced
- 1 small shallot minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon red wine vinegar
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded fontina cheese
- 4 slices bread of choice
- butter
How To Make balsamic mushrooms & fontina grilled cheese sammie

Step 1Add the butter and oil in a large skillet. Add the mushrooms, shallots, & thyme. Cook until mushrooms have given up their moisture. Add the vinegars and cook until the liquid has evaporated. Season with salt and pepper

Step 2Remove the mushrooms from the skillet. Wipe out the skillet. Butter each slide of bread. on one side. Place 2 slices the butter side down in the pan over med heat. Top with mushroom, & cheese and the other slice of bread butter side up.

Step 3When the bread is browned on one side. Flip to the other side pressing down and cook until cheese is melted. Serve
