Ingredients
- BASIL PESTO
- 2 cups fresh basil
- 2 tablespoons pine nuts
- 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic
- 4 - Kalamata olives
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 0 - salt, to taste
- SAMMIE
- 2 large sub buns
- 6 ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1 large tomato, sliced
- 1 - avocado, sliced
How To Make avocado pesto sammie

Step 1First make the pesto. Add all ingredients except olive oil to a food processor. Process while drizzling in the olive oil. Taste and season with salt.

Step 2Spread pesto on the bottom of sub buns and top with mozzarella cheese, tomato, and avocado slices.

Step 3Cut in half and serve immediately.
