If you love Elvis' favorite sandwich, I created this one, it's called Appleseed. It's based on Johnny Appleseed. It's filled with crunchy peanut butter, cream cheese, apple slices, and even bacon.

Ingredients
- 1 cup crunchy peanut butter
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 4 granny smith apples, peeled and sliced
- 12 cooked bacon strips
- 8 slices whole wheat bread
How To Make appleseed sandwich

Step 1Heat a skillet over medium heat and coat with cooking spray.

Step 2Spread 1 tablespoon of peanut butter onto one side of each slice of bread.

Step 3Place apple slices onto peanut butter side.

Step 4Spread cream cheese on apple slices. Add bacon strips.

Step 5Top with the other slice of bread and press together firmly.

Step 6Fry the sandwiches until golden brown on both sides.
