Ingredients For saucy italian roast

  • 3 lb
    beef rump roast
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1 jar
    sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 md
    onion,diced
  • 1 jar
    spaghetti sauce
  • 1/4 c
    red wine or beef broth
  • 1 pkg
    hot cooked pasta
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder

How To Make saucy italian roast

  • 1
    Cut roast in half. Combine the salt, garlic powder and pepper, rub over roast. Place in 5 qt. slow cooker. Top with mushrooms and onion. Combine the spaghetti sauce and wine, pour over meat.

    Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until meat is tender. Slice roast, serve with pasta and pan juices.
