sandy's pot roast
When my hubby was in the hospital after a horrible motorcycle accident, this was what he asked for as soon as they said he could eat. His mother's recipe for pot roast is very unique in ingredients, but he loves the flavor and I have to admit for someone who doesn't like potroast, I'm starting to like it too! Just don't tell my mother in law, I'd never live it down! :)

How To Make sandy's pot roast
-
Step 1I cut roast in half so I have enough room for lots of carrots and the potatoes. The hubby loves carrots, so the majority of add ins are carrots at my house!
-
Step 2Put roast into your pan, cover with horseradish sauce and sprinkle with onion soup mix. Cover with water. Put lid or foil on your pan. Bake 2 1/2 hours at 325 degrees. Add carrots, cook 30 min. Add peeled, cut up potatoes, cook another 30 min. Total cooking time is 3 1/2 hours.
