This recipe is from the Southern Cooking book 3, and it is great for parties. It does smell wonderful when cooking. I have served up to 20 - 25 people on a large ham. Just make sure it is SUGAR CURED not salt cured.

Ingredients
- 6 pounds sugar cured ham
- 1 bottle apple cider - enough to cover
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 2 tablespoons ground cloves
How To Make aromatic ham

Step 1Put ham in sprayed slow cooker with hock up. Add spices evenly around ham. Add apple cider to the fill line on the slow . Cover and cook 10-12 hours. Let cool for 20 minutes before slicing.
