Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons chili powder, divided
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 - 3 1/2 pounds pork baby back ribs, cut in half
- 3 tablespoons maple syrup, divided
- 1 can 8-oz can tomato sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
How To Make sweet & spicy slow cooker ribs

Step 1Spray the inside of the slow cooker insert with vegetable spray.

Step 2In a small bowl, add 1 tsp. chili powder, coriander, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder, salt and pepper and mix well.

Step 3Brush the ribs with 1 tbsp. maple syrup and rub spice mixture onto meat. Place ribs in the slow cooker.

Step 4Mix together the tomato sauce, 1 tsp. chili powder, 1/2 tsp. garlic powder and 2 tbsp. maple syrup along with the cinnamon and ginger. Pour mixture over the ribs and cook for 8 hours on low.

Step 5When done, remove ribs to a platter and cover loosely with foil. Increase heat in slow cooker to high and cook 10-15 minutes to thicken sauce. Brush ribs with sauce and serve remaining sauce on the side.
