Ingredients
- 2 pounds spare ribs cut in half or cut into chunks
- 1 medium onion cut into wedges
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons shaoxing wine or dry sherry
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/3 cup chinese black vinegar
- 2 teaspoons grated ginger
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1/2 cup water
How To Make slow cooker sweet and sour ribs

Step 1Place the spare ribs in a large slow cooker. Add the onion wedges around the ribs.

Step 2In a saucepan combine the remaining ingredients over med high heat. Whisk until thickened.

Step 3Pour the sauce over the spare ribs in the slow cooker. Cook on low for 8 to 9 hours. Stirring occasionally .
