Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork baby back ribs ribs, separated
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 teaspoons fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
- 1 can coconut soda (12 oz)
- 3 stalks green onions, sliced
How To Make vietnamese style pork ribs

Step 1Place the olive oil in a Dutch oven. Brown the ribs in batches until browned on all sides. Remove to a plate. Add the onions, garlic, and ginger. Sauté 5 minutes.

Step 2Add the fish sauce and brown sugar. Add the ribs back to the Dutch oven. Pour the coconut soda over the top.

Step 3Add water if the soda doesn't cover the ribs. Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Cover and cook for 1 hour.

Step 4Remove the lid and continue to cook another 30 minutes until most of the moisture is absorbed. The last 5 minutes stir in the green onions.
