Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons chili crisp
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 green onion, chopped

How To Make vietnamese style caramel pork

  • Step 1
    Heat the oil in a skillet. Add the onion, ginger, and garlic. Cook 2 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Add the pork and cook until no longer pink. Add the sugar and fish sauce. Cook until the pork starts to caramelize, about 5 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Stir in the chili crisp and top with green onions.
  • Step 4
    Serve over rice or rice noodles.
