When it gets Fall time it's Turnip Green and Mustard time. Here is a little twist.
Serve with corn bread made with yellow corn meal.

Ingredients

2 large
onions, chopped
2 large
cans turnip greens or mustard greens
2 can(s)
15 oz navy beans
1 large
potato, peeled and diced
1 Tbsp
sugar
2 c
sliced smoked sausage or chopped cooked ham
1 can(s)
4.5 oz chopped green chiles
water

Step-By-Step

1Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven, add enough water to cover. Bring to a boil then turn down to med/ low, cover and Cook 45 minutes. May add a little more water to thin. Serve with corn bread.
2Good cooked with fresh greens.
