turkey burger with green apple
I came up with this interesting burger and the kids loved it! My kids love mini burgers but these can easily be made either way.

All we can say is yum! No ordinary grilled burger recipe here. Shredded green apple, smoky maple seasoning and a touch of maple syrup are mixed with ground turkey and pork. The apple helps to keep these burgers moist. Silky melted Brie cheese tops the burger perfectly. They can be served as an appetizer or main meal.

Ingredients
- 10 - small water rolls (bakery)
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 - Granny Smith apple
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey
- 1 tablespoon Grill Mates smokehouse maple seasoning
- 5 tablespoons butter, cut into small cubes
- 1 package Brie cheese, sliced into 10 pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
How To Make turkey burger with green apple

Step 1Peel and shred/grate apple.

Step 2Combine with ground pork, turkey, maple syrup, cubed butter, seasoning, salt, and pepper.

Step 3Form into ten mini patty burgers.

Step 4Grill until desired doneness.

Step 5Take the rind off of the Brie cheese. At the last minute, top with Brie cheese and melt slighty.

Step 6Garnish with lettuce, tomato or avocado.

Step 7The first time I made this I did not top the burger with any condiments. You could mix a little mayo, Dijon mustard, and maple syrup together and top with that.
