Roast beef, turkey, hard salami, co-jack and swiss on soft hoagie rolls topped with all the extras! I LOVE making subs at home! And WAY less expensive than carry-out! ;) Photo by me.

Ingredients For triple meat double cheese subs at home

  • 1 large
    hoagie roll, halved lengthwise
  • 3 slices
    hard salami
  • 3 slices
    good deli roast beef
  • 3 slices
    good deli roast turkey
  • 1 large
    round slice deli co-jack cheese, halved
  • 1-2
    slices good swiss cheese, halved corner-to-corner
  • 1/2 cup
    packed shredded lettuce
  • 1 tsp.
    to 1 tbl. italian dressing, to taste/your preference
  • 2-4
    thin slices tomatoes, depending on size such as romas or beefsteak
  • salt & pepper, just a light sprinkling of each over the tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup
    sliced black olives
  • 1 very
    thin slice of onion, seperate rings
  • pepperoncini peppers, sliced, as many as you'd like
  • mayo or miracle whip

How To Make triple meat double cheese subs at home

  • 1
    Split open hoagie roll, separate top and bottom if desired, or just open up enough to pile everything in. Spread insides of top and bottom of roll with mayo. Top bottom roll with rest of ingredients layering in order. Place on top roll. Cut in half if prefered. Great cold, warmed or panini-style! Enjoy! (Makes enough for 2 people.)
