Ingredients
- 1-6 lb - hen
- 2 1/2 lb - stew beef or deer
- 2 1/2 lb - pork roast
- 1 lb - dried lima beans
- 5 lb - onion chopped
- 10 lb - potatoes
- 4 cans - tomatoes, canned and chopped, with liquid
- 2 cans - corn kernels, fresh
- 2 cans - tomato paste
- 1/2 lb - margarine
- 1 big - red pepper, dried

Step 1Place hen,beef,pork,in large kettle and cover with water.bring to boil and reduce heat.cover simmer until tender.remove meats from broth and cool.reserve broth.remove meats from bones and chop.

Step 2soak beans overnight in enough water to cover.drain and add to reserved broth.add onions,cook until beans are tender.peel potatoes dice.mash tomatoes.

Step 3add the meats,potatoes,tomatoes to bean mixture.Add remaining ingredients and cook,stirring frequently,until potatoes are done and stew is thickened.

Step 4MY BE CANNED OR FROZEN. 13 QUARTS.
