Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 8 ounces ground pork
  • 1 tablespoon tom yum paste
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons sake
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 8 ounces rice noodles
  • 1/2 cup bean sprouts
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced carrots
  • 3 sprigs thai basil
  • 3 tablespoons chopped nuts
  • fresh lime for squeezing

How To Make tom yum noodles

  • Step 1
    Add the sesame oil to a large wok or skillet. Add the ground pork and tom yum paste and mix well. Add the saki, carrots, garlic and fish sauce. Cook until meat is no longer pink and most of the moisture has evaporated.
  • Step 2
    Meanwhile cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain and add to pan and stir fry with the pork. Add the bean sprouts. Stir fry one more minute.
  • Step 3
    Serve with Thai basil, nuts and lime squeeze on top
