Ingredients
- 1 can (16 oz.) peas
- 4 cups cubed pork steak
- 1 tablespoon shortening
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup diced celery
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 package noodles, medium sized
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1/2 cup grated american cheese
- 1 can durkee onion rings
How To Make the ultimate pork casserole

Step 1Drain peas, reserving liquid.

Step 2Brown pork in shortening.

Step 3Add onion, celery, salt, water and reserved liquid.

Step 4Simmer till meat is done.

Step 5Cook and drain noodles.

Step 6Add soup, pepper, thyme, peas, and cheese.

Step 7Combine noodle mixture and pork mixture and place in lightly greased casserole dish.

Step 8Top with onion rings.

Step 9Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
