Ingredients

  • 1 can(s)
    (16 oz.) peas
  • 4 c
    cubed pork steak
  • 1 Tbsp
    shortening
  • 1/2 c
    chopped onion
  • 1 c
    diced celery
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1 pkg
    noodles, medium sized
  • 1 can(s)
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    thyme
  • 1/2 c
    grated american cheese
  • 1 can(s)
    durkee onion rings

How to Make The Ultimate Pork Casserole

Step-by-Step

  1. Drain peas, reserving liquid.
  2. Brown pork in shortening.
  3. Add onion, celery, salt, water and reserved liquid.
  4. Simmer till meat is done.
  5. Cook and drain noodles.
  6. Add soup, pepper, thyme, peas, and cheese.
  7. Combine noodle mixture and pork mixture and place in lightly greased casserole dish.
  8. Top with onion rings.
  9. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
