This was the first time I've EVER made a pork roast & it just so happens to be my favorite one now. Everyone else loves it too! Why not share the love? ??????

prep time 10 Min
cook time 8 Hr
method Slow Cooker Crock Pot
yield Approx. 8

Ingredients

  • 1 pound pork roast (i used an already garlic & herb marinaded pork roast)
  • 3 small green peppers
  • 3 small red peppers
  • 2 - freshly chopped jalapeño peppers
  • 2 cloves garlic (chopped)
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chilli powder
  • 2 cups water or your favorite beer
  • 1/2 - onion (chopped) *if you are not an onion fan, you can replace the onion with 2 tsp of onion powder instead*

How To Make the best crockpot pork roast

  • Step 1
Carefully chop peppers, jalapeños, onions, & garlic (you can mix seeds from peppers & jalapeños into the chopped peppers to add a little spice!)
  • Step 2
Place your THAWED chunk of pork roast in center of crockpot.
  • Step 3
Decor the surrounding of the pork roast by spreading the beautifully chopped veggies around the roast.
  • Step 4
Sprinkle salt, pepper, chilli power, (onion salt) over roast & veggies then pour water (or beer) over it to make the brothy goodness.
  • Step 5
Cook pork roast for 6-8 hours on LOW or until roast has fallen apart nicely (it's best to cook it overnight so you don't feel like you're waiting all that time). Enjoy!
