4 Tbspuncooked thai sticky rice
1 lbground pork
1 Tbspeach red chili flakes, sugar, and fish sauce
3 smallshallots minced
1/4 ccilantro chopped
4green onions sliced thinly
How to Make Thai Larb
- Take the uncooked Thai sticky rice (also called Thai sweet rice). Brown it over medium heat in an ungreased sauce pan stirring constantly until browned but not burnt. Let cool a bit then grind into a powder in food processor. Set aside.
- Add the pork to a frying pan and cook until almost done. Add the shallots. Cook until pork is done. Remove from heat and add the rice powder, and remaining ingredients. Stir to combine well.
- I served this in a lettuce wrap topped with fresh Cilantro leaves and sweet chili sauce
