Tater Gem Casserole

Ingredients

1 1/2 kgground pork
-
1 can(s)cream of mushroom soup

2 cfrozen cubed vegetables

1 mediumonion (finely chopped)

2 tspgarlic powder

1 pkgtater gems
-
1 1/2 cshredded sharp cheddar cheese
How to Make Tater Gem Casserole
- In large bowl, add ground pork, salt & pepper, frozen vegetables, chopped onion, garlic powder and 2/3 of the condensed cream of mushroom soup and mix all together.
- Spread meat mixture in 9" x 13" casserole dish. Arrange tater gems across top of meat mixture. To remaining 1/3 can of soup, add water to top of can and mix together with soup. Pour over tater gems that you have lined up in dish.
- Place casserole in 375 deg. oven for approx. 75 mins. (I always place casserole in oven on cookie sheet to catch any spills. Saves on oven cleaning.)
- Sprinkle grated cheese over tater gems and return to oven until cheese is melted (about 5 - 8 mins.) Remove from oven and let stand for at least 10 mins. before serving.
