Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • 2 1/2 pounds boneless pork loin

  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cloves large cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 - 3 dashes hot pepper sauce, or to your taste

How To Make tangy slow cooker pork

  • Step 1
    1. Arrange onion slices evenly over the bottom of the Crockpot, and then place the roast on top of the onion.
  • Step 2
    2. In a bowl, mix together water, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, ketchup, black pepper, salt, garlic powder, and hot sauce; pour over roast.
  • Step 3
    3. Cover, and cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours, or on High for 3 to 4 hours.
  • Step 4
I served this with mashed potatoes and the juice and onion spooned over the meat and the potatoes. It would also be great with egg noodles or rice.
