1/2 c
chicken broth
2 Tbsp
oyster sauce or dark soy sauce
1 tsp
regular soy sauce
1 tsp
chinese black vinegar
1 tsp
chinese 5 spice powder
1/4 c
brown sugar
2 tsp
olive oil
shallots chopped
4 clove
garlic minced
1 lb
ground pork
4 oz
shiitake mushrooms chopped
2 stalk(s)
green onion chopped

How to Make Taiwanese Noodles with Meat Sauce


  • 1Cook the noodles according to package directions drain and set aside.
  • 2In a small bowl combine the chicken broth, oyster sauce, regular soy sauce, vinegar, five spice powder and brown sugar. Set aside.
  • 3In a large skillet heat oil. Add the shallots and garlic and cook 2 minutes. Add the ground pork and cook until almost done. Add the mushrooms. Pour the broth sauce mixture in and simmer for 3 minutes. Add the noodles and serve garnished with green onions.
