Ingredients
- 3 pounds italian sausage
- 2 large diced onions
- 3 - yellow bell peppers, diced
- 4 cups kidney beans
- #10 can tomato puree
- 1 tablespoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 1/2 cup chili powder
- 1/2 pound beef baste
- 1 quart v-8
How To Make tailgater chili

Step 1Combine sausage, peppers, onions, base and spices in stockpot over med heat until sausage is cooked, stirring often. Remove from heat, drain lightly. Return to med heat and add all but V-8. Cook 30 min, stirring often. Adjust consistency with V-8 when done.
