Here is the last of five recipes using my Master Mix. Make sure you pinch that recipe! It is found under the five Mexican recipes posted just recently. Tacos - who doesn't like tacos!!

Ingredients For tacos supreme

  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 3 c
    mexican meat mix, thawed
  • 12 - 15
    corn tortillas
  • 2 c
    grated cheddar cheese
  • shredded lettuce
  • 2
    tomatoes, fresh and chopped
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green onion
  • 1 can
    (7 oz) green chili salsa

How To Make tacos supreme

    Heat 2 inches of oil to 375F degrees in a large skillet. Heat 'Mexican Meat Mix' in a medium saucepan. Fry tortillas in hot oil. Using tongs, fold tortillas in half, then immediately open to 45-degree angle. Fry about 1 minute, until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Place 2 Tablespoons 'Mexican Meat Mix' in each cooked tortilla. Top with grated cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, green onion and green chili salsa.

    Variation: For convenience, us prefried, formed corn tortillas instead of forming your own.
