Ingredients

    vegetable oil for frying
  • 3 c
    mexican meat mix, thawed
  • 12 - 15
    corn tortillas
  • 2 c
    grated cheddar cheese
  • ·
    shredded lettuce
  • 2
    tomatoes, fresh and chopped
  • 1/4 c
    chopped green onion
  • 1 can(s)
    (7 oz) green chili salsa

How to Make Tacos Supreme

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat 2 inches of oil to 375F degrees in a large skillet. Heat 'Mexican Meat Mix' in a medium saucepan. Fry tortillas in hot oil. Using tongs, fold tortillas in half, then immediately open to 45-degree angle. Fry about 1 minute, until crisp. Drain on paper towels. Place 2 Tablespoons 'Mexican Meat Mix' in each cooked tortilla. Top with grated cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, green onion and green chili salsa.
  2. Variation:
    For convenience, us prefried, formed corn tortillas instead of forming your own.
