ground pork
2 tsp
1/4 tsp
salt and white pepper
2 tsp
minced fresh garlic
2 1/2 c
cooked green beans
2 tsp
peanut oil
3 Tbsp
hoisin sauce
2 tsp
4 tsp
soy sauce, low sodium
1 to 2 tsp
crushed red pepper
cooked white rice

How to Make Szechuan Green Beans and Pork


  • 1Combine the pork, cornstarch and salt and pepper and set aside.
  • 2Heat 2 tsp. peanut oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the pork mixture, the green beans and the garlic and cook until the pork is no longer pink.
  • 3Combine the hoisin sauce, sugar, soy sauce, and crushed red pepper and add to the pork mixture.
  • 4Serve with cooked white rice.
