  • 1 lb
    ground pork
  • 2 tsp
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt and white pepper
  • 2 tsp
    minced fresh garlic
  • 2 1/2 c
    cooked green beans
  • 2 tsp
    peanut oil
  • 3 Tbsp
    hoisin sauce
  • 2 tsp
  • 4 tsp
    soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1 to 2 tsp
    crushed red pepper
  • ·
    cooked white rice

How to Make Szechuan Green Beans and Pork


  1. Combine the pork, cornstarch and salt and pepper and set aside.
  2. Heat 2 tsp. peanut oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the pork mixture, the green beans and the garlic and cook until the pork is no longer pink.
  3. Combine the hoisin sauce, sugar, soy sauce, and crushed red pepper and add to the pork mixture.
  4. Serve with cooked white rice.
