Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt and white pepper
  • 2 teaspoons minced fresh garlic
  • 2 1/2 cups cooked green beans
  • 2 teaspoons peanut oil
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 4 teaspoons soy sauce, low sodium
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper
  • - cooked white rice

How To Make szechuan green beans and pork

  • Step 1
    Combine the pork, cornstarch and salt and pepper and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Heat 2 tsp. peanut oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the pork mixture, the green beans and the garlic and cook until the pork is no longer pink.
  • Step 3
    Combine the hoisin sauce, sugar, soy sauce, and crushed red pepper and add to the pork mixture.
  • Step 4
    Serve with cooked white rice.
