I've been making this for over 30 years. I sometimes do a dinner party with fried rice, stir fry vegetables, gingered chicken and store bought won ton soup.

How to Make Sweet & Sour Pork

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown pork slowly in a little oil. Add 1/2 cup water, cover and simmer until tender, about 1 hour.

  3. Pour over hot pork, let rest 10 minutes.
  4. Add pineapple chunks, green pepper and onions cook another 5 minutes until peppers are done to your liking.
