This was such a nice twist on traditional BBQ sliders. The sweet flavors blended perfectly with the peppers & spices. Super easy to make, delicious & my family absolutely LOVED them.

Ingredients
- 3 pounds pork roast, boneless
- 1/4 cup dry bbq rub*
- 2 - jalapenos, sliced
- 1 - mango, diced
- 2 - roasted red bell pepper, sliced
- 1/4 cup banana pepper rings (extra for garnish)
- 15 ounces can of diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 can vinegar
How To Make sweet & sassy crockpot bbq sliders

Step 1Massage pork with 1/2 of the dry rub. Place in slow cooker.

Step 2Top roast with jalapenos, mango, bell pepper & banana peppers.

Step 3In a bowl, mix tomatoes, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar & remaining rub until blended. Pour over roast.

Step 4Cover. Cook 8 hours on LOW or 4 hours on HIGH.

Step 5Shred pork using 2 forks. Mix with sauce.

Step 6Serve on slider buns & top with banana pepper rings.

Step 7*My dry rub is a blend of salt, brown sugar, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cayenne pepper & paprika.
