Ingredients
- 4 - pork chops, center cut
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, minced
- SAUCE
- 2 teaspoons canola oil
- 4 tablespoons rice wine
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
How To Make sweet chops

Step 1Heat oil in skillet. Saute` chops with garlic and ginger in oil, turning to brown both sides.

Step 2SAUCE: To make sauce, combine oil, rice wine, soy sauce, brown sugar and red pepper flakes.

Step 3Pour over chops in skillet and cover tightly. Simmer over low heat until chops are tender and cooked through; 30-35 minutes.

Step 4Add water as needed to keep sauce from cooking down too much.

Step 5Remove chops from skillet to serving platter. Stir in cornstarch dissolved in water. Cook until thickened. Pour over chops and serve.
