This one of my favorite pork recipes! Juicy,tender pork roast wrapped in bacon and roasted with a sweet honey balsamic glaze.

Ingredients

  • 1 - (3lb.)boneless pork roast
  • 8 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons dry red wine
  • 1 - sweet onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon rosemary, chopped

How To Make sweet bacon wrapped pork loin

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 375. Line a shallow roasting pan with foil.
  • Step 2
    Season pork loin with salt and pepper.
  • Step 3
    Wrap bacon slices around pork loin and secure with toothpicks.
  • Step 4
    Preheat a large skillet over med-high heat,then add pork loin. Cook until golden brown on all sides,about 10 mins. then place in roasting pan.
  • Step 5
    Stir together honey,balsamic vinegar,red wine,onion,and rosemary in a small bowl; spread over pork loin.
  • Step 6
    Roast the pork loin in a preheated oven for 15 mins; Continue cooking until the internal temperature of the pork loin reaches 160 degrees about 15 minutes more. Remove from oven,and allow to rest for 5 minutes before removing toothpicks and slicing.
