I've been wanting to try a sweet and spicy pork recipe for a while, so this is what I came up with, and it's delicious.

How to Make Sweet and Spicy Pork on Pork

  • 1I bought some boneless sirloin pork chops and cut them into strips, trying to keep the strips approx. the same size. Season strips on both sides with Mrs. Dash original blend.
  • 2I like pepper bacon, but use your favorite. Wrap one slice of bacon around each strip, you may need to fasten the ends with toothpicks. Brown both sides of strips in a hot skillet.
  • 3Place some foil on the bottom of a bakers rack pan. Place browned strips on rack and spoon or brush salsa on top.
    Sweet Heat Breakfast Salsa
  • 4Bake 325° for 30-40 min depending on thickness of strips. Remove from oven after 20 min. and spoon or brush on more salsa. Serve with remaining salsa. This is a dish that would be great for breakfast as well as any other meal.
