Mom loved to host parties, the Chinese one was a huge hit. She didn't mention rice with this, because she had a bowl on every table, and people could then top it with their choice of main dish!

Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs
- 3 tablespoons romano cheese, shredded
- dash parsley flakes
- dash salt
- dash pepper
- 1 1/2 cups celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup green onion, chopped
- 4 ounces red wine vinegar
- 4 ounces water
- - sugar to taste
- 1 bag mixed chinese style vegetables
How To Make sweet and sour pork, mom

Step 1Moisten meat in a slightly beaten egg, then bread in a mixture of bread crumbs, cheese, parsley, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with olive oil and brown on both sides. Dice onion and celery, saute in olive oil, then add sugar, water and vinegar. Alternate mixtures of meat and vegetables. Serve hot. Can be made ahead and reheated for 15-20 min at 350 degrees, or even served cold.
