super simple sausage skillet
This simple dish is packed full of flavor! It never last for a late night snack! The whole skillet is gone in a flash. This dish brings all my kids home that night for some reason and they take anything left home with them to their significant others! I will post photo when I make this again. Sorry for not having one already.

Ingredients
- 1 pound breakfast sausage (i use reg. but hot is good also!)
- 1/2 - green pepper
- 1/2 - onion
- 1 can tomatoes i use a pint jar of tomatoes i can all my own tomatoes so 16 oz is what i use in this recipe (i have used diced and whole either is good)
- 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic or powdered
- 1 package muller's ruffles pasta uncooked (or any thicker pasta that holds well)

Step 1In a large skillet add sausage, peppers and onions. Cook until sausage is just done.

Step 2Add garlic and tomatoes and cook until it starts to bubble.

Step 3Add 2/3 box of dry pasta (or more if you like more pasta) fold into sausage mixture. Add 2 cups water and stir into the mix bring to a low boil and reduce heat to simmer. Cover and let simmer until pasta is done adding more water as pasta absorbs it if needed.

Step 4When pasta is cooked through turn off heat and top with cheese and re cover to melt.

Step 5I serve this with with a homemade rustic Italian bread and a small side salad! :)
