  • 1 lb
    bulk italian sausage
  • 1 large
  • 1/2 c
    italian bread crumbs
  • 3-4 stick
    string cheese
  • 2 bottle
    favorite pasta sauce

How to Make Stuffed Italian Sausage Balls


  1. Mix the sausage,egg and italian bread crumbs
    Make as many large or small balls balls as you want.
  2. cut the string cheese into the same amount of pieces as there are sausage balls
  3. insert cheese into ball, shape the meat around the cheese,make sure no cheese is showing
  4. place the sausage balls into a saucepan with your favorite spaghetti sauce,bring to a simmer covered for 20 to 25 min.make sure not to boil or else all your cheese will leak out
  5. Serve with pasta or spaghetti squash
