Ingredients

  • 1 pound bulk italian sausage
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup italian bread crumbs
  • 3-4 sticks string cheese
  • 2 bottles favorite pasta sauce

How To Make stuffed italian sausage balls

  • Step 1
    Mix the sausage,egg and italian bread crumbs Make as many large or small balls balls as you want.
  • Step 2
    cut the string cheese into the same amount of pieces as there are sausage balls
  • Step 3
    insert cheese into ball, shape the meat around the cheese,make sure no cheese is showing
  • Step 4
    place the sausage balls into a saucepan with your favorite spaghetti sauce,bring to a simmer covered for 20 to 25 min.make sure not to boil or else all your cheese will leak out
  • Step 5
    Serve with pasta or spaghetti squash
