Ingredients
- 12 - medium or large cabbage leaves
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound ground pork
- 1 1/3 cups hot prepared minute rice
- 2 - eggs slightly beaten
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup water
How To Make stuffed cabbage

Step 1Boil cabbage leaves in salted water for about 3 minutes, drain, combine beef, pork, rice, eggs, salt, onion, milk and 1/2 C. sauce, mix well. Place 1/2 C. meat mixture in center of each cabbage leaf, fold over sides and ends of leaves, secure with wooden picks. Saute in butter about 5 minutes or until golden on both sides. Add 1/2 C. sauce and water. Cook, covered, 40 minutes, basting twice. Then cook uncovered 5 minutes longer. For 1 1/3 C. hot prepared rice, prepare 2/3 C. rice according to pkg. directions.
