strawberry pork chops

I wanted to use up my fresh strawberries, so I did a web search for recipes. I combined, added and changed ingredients from several, and came up with this!

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon red cooking wine
- 1/4 cup red plum jelly
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper (more if you like more heat!)
- 1/4 teaspoon each of rosemary, taragon and oregano
- 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 - pork chops (i used boneless, butterfly cut)
- - olive oil to cover pan
- 1 1/2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
How To Make strawberry pork chops

Step 1Whisk together first 5 ingredients and set aside.

Step 2Mix rosemary, taragon, oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Rub mixture on both sides of chops.

Step 3Heat oil in pan. Brown chops for about 5 minutes on each side. Lower heat to low-medium and add chicken broth mixture. Simmer for about 4 minutes.

Step 4Remove chops and keep warm. Add sliced strawberries to pan sauce and simmer for another 5 minutes.

Step 5Pour sauce over pork chops and enjoy!
