Ingredients
- 1 pound lean pork
- 1 bunch leeks
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons peanut oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- - a few drops of sesame oil
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons dry sherry
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- - dash of white pepper
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
How To Make stir-fried pork and leeks

Step 1Dice pork, diagonally across the grain into bite size pieces. On a clean cutting board slice leeks (white and light green parts only).

Step 2Heat oil. Add salt, then garlic, and brown lightly. Add pork and leeks. Stir fry until golden (about 2 minutes)

Step 3Mix cornstarch with chicken broth. Stir in broth mixture and heat quickly, then cook, covered,. 2 to 3 minutes over medium heat.

Step 4. Meanwhile, combine soy sauce, sherry, sugar, pepper and sesame oil; then add and cook, stirring, 2 minutes more.

Step 5Serve over hot cooked rice.
